    Hey there,

It can be tricky to find that some of your favorite tools are missing. The proofreading tool has been removed for the time being, and alternatives are being worked on. In the meantime, you can try to use the spell check tool in your browser.

You can find more information on the status of the proofreading tool and possible alternatives here:

    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/spellcheck-feature-2/

In regard to reverting back to the Classic Editor, you can head over to the editor, click the three dots in the top right corner, and click “Switch to Classic Editor” at the bottom of the drop down menu.

For more information, see the answer to the FAQ, “Will I still be able to use the old editor?” at the following link:

    WordPress Editor

    Hope this helps!

taratabrizi, I do not have that option in the dropdown menu. It won’t let me switch back to the classic editor. Please help.

Nevermind. I finally fixed it. WordPress used to be the best blogging platform around, but many of the changes over the years, since 2012-2013, have been underwhelming.
