Original free site

    Hi
    New to WordPress and tried the free site to understand how to publish. The first site had the .Wordpress.com. The subsequent sites I experimented with had numbers between my name and the .Wordpress.com
    I have now got an idea on building my new site so deleted all experimental sites.
    Now every new build has a series of numbers between that I want to avoid.
    Please can you advise me how to go back to the basic main link?
