  I need help. How can I use the original theme and install plugins in
  to wordpress on wordpress.com.

  I believe my blog is hosted on wordpress.com. Can you verify. Also, is it possible to change hosts and still use wordpress? Thank you. BT

  Hi Bob,

  I actually have two answers to one of your questions. You have two domains, bobtobin.com and drbobtobin.com. drbobtobin.com is registered here with us and that is where your blog is hosted and everything. Your other domain, bobtobin.com is registered with GoDaddy.com and it isn’t really doing much of anything. It is pointing to GoDaddy’s parked servers, so it is just sitting there.

  Now to answer some of your other questions: The Original theme is by a company called Theme Forest and is not currently available on WordPress.com. For that matter, neither are plugins (for security reasons). They are both only available on self-hosted WordPress.org sites.

  If you are really interested in having that theme or plugins (or both), you can always migrate your site to a self-hosted version. It’s surprisingly easy, or we have a Guided Transfer product where we will do the entire thing for you for a fee.

  thanks Greg. I will check out the difference between .org and .com

  also, is it possible to transfer or point hosting to bluehost.com ?

  You can do both, actually. You can just point your domain towards bluehost using something called your domain’s nameservers. We talk about how to do so right here:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  Or you can transfer your domain name entirely over to bluehost so that they are the ones managing your domain for you. If you go with that option it’s a bit more complicated at first, but then if you’re hosting with bluehost both your domain and hosting would be with them and it’s generally easier.
