Orvis Drop down menu Conflict

Hello, my drop down menu is going off the screen to the right. Is there anyway to switch the direction? Can I switch the position of the menu with my site title? Is there another relative theme I should consider?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m on a PC running Windows 10 and FF51 and my browser size is Browser Size1024 x 645. I do not see that issue at http://radicalarthistory.wordpress.com/

Which site are you referring to please?
    Post the URL.

    Also post these:
    (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
    (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

Then type type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. I’m also running Windows 10 and browser size is 1366 x 635. This is for a new website, the URL is: https://aarongoldmansite.wordpress.com/

a.) I am using a PC laptop (Lenovo Ideapad)
b.) I am using an updated version of Firefox.

I will add some modlook tags. Thanks for all of the suggestions in making my post more adaptive to the feed.

  • HI there,

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve reported the issue to our theme developers so they can see if it’s possible to fix this.

  • Hi again. I’ve heard back from our theme developers, and this is expected behaviour for themes with right-aligned menus, so not something that can be fixed.

But there is a trick to get around it. Edit your menu and add a custom link at the end. For the link URL, only type #, and for the navigation label add only spaces. That will force your entire menu away from the edge of the screen, so on smaller screens that still show the full menu there should be less chance of overlap.

This can also be changed with custom CSS, but you need the Premium Plan to use that. Still, let me know if you want the code needed for this change.
