Orvis: Logo and text inline?

Hi, I’ve been looking for solutions everywhere online, but nothing has quite worked.

I’m using the Orvis theme (with a child theme for modification, of course). What I’ve been trying to do is move the logo, so that it’s inline with and on the left of the Title and strapline on my pages. Kind of like this o=

Before adding the logo I noted the title & strapline were 54 px high, so I made the logo 54px high. There just seems to be so much css I’d be piling on top of each other, and something just wasn’t letting it do it.

    Thanks in advance.

Hello Chris, I’ll be happy to help, but the website you want help with is a not a WordPress.com hosted website and this forum is the right place to ask.

Your website is hosted on these name servers:

    ns1.tsohost.co.uk 195.62.28.14
    ns2.tsohost.co.uk 95.142.155.4
    ns3.tsohost.co.uk 95.142.154.15

You may want to read the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here.

Members at the WordPress.org forum will be able to help you better.

    Have a great day!

Hi ckbruce924 – you’ll get a reply over here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/logo-in-line-with-title-and-strapline/ Thanks in advance for your patience.

theakshaydhiman – please feel free to help any user of Automattic-made themes here, instead of asking them to repost elsewhere. And if you do send someone to WordPress.org, sending them to the specific theme’s forum will ensure the developer sees it, instead of the general forum where it’s likely not to be spotted. In this case, that’s https://wordpress.org/support/theme/orvis/ Thanks!
