Orvis / Portfolio Archive Page / layout
-
Hi There,
I am using the orvis theme to create my online portfolio and have now categorised my projects using project types. I would like my Portfolio archive page (showing projects of the same type) to be displayed in the same way as my main portfolio page. (3 columns of pictures exactly as shown in the orvis theme demo. I can’t figure out how to do that.
Thanks for your help.

Hi there
Since the blog is set to private, we are unable to look at what may be going on. Perhaps the documentation of the theme can help you figure this out:

Hi Dave,
It is actually another blog I need help with:
https://martinapirklbauerproduct.wordpress.com/(When clicking on corporate or product in the pictures I would like to have the same layout as in the main portfolio page which shows my name/logo)
Thanks for the link, I already had a look at this and think that portfolio shortcodes might be the answer but don’t understand how this works.

Ah! Always helps to tell us which site you want us to help with.
Looking at the site, your main (“home”) page has 3 columns. Each item is a link to a “portfolio” page containing one image. I found this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/
while digging around, is this what you were referring to?I have found that the WordPress documentation is easy to follow, be brave and give it a try!

I found this as well and have read it 20 times but just don’t seem to find an answer or probably I just don’t understand it.
I thought it might have to do with ‘shortcodes’…
https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/portfolio-shortcode/On the Orvis demo, if you click ‘main’ or ‘desert’ on the pictures you get on a page which is identical to the main page.
That’s what I am trying to achieve.
Thanks.
