Orvis theme – featured images question
-
I’d like to add featured images to my blog posts (so that when I post links on social media the featured image comes up and makes the link more likely to be clicked on). However, I don’t actually want the featured image to appear at the top of my blog posts, because it’s just too big and I don’t like the aesthetic of it sitting there – I want readers to get straight to the text. Come to think of it, this goes for pages, too, not just blogt posts.
Can anyone think of a solution? Thank you! (I don’t do code and complex back-end fiddling, so hoping there is a solution available for dummies.)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, this can be done with custom CSS, which is a part of the WordPress.com Premium and Business plans, but can’t be done otherwise. Generally, if you have images inside of your posts, the social services will look and pull one of those as long as it doesn’t exceed their file size and image size limits.
