Orvis theme malfunction, won't go to other pages

Hi all, for some reason, when you click “older projects” at the bottom of my blog, it doesn’t take you to my previous projects. From the homepage, it should take you to /page/2/ then /page/3/ etc. but it just reroutes to the homepage. Can someone help me fix this? I haven’t changed anything and only noticed this problem today. It wasn’t happening before.

I’ve now changed my theme to Illistratr and I’m still having the same problem. For some reason, the previous button won’t show my previous projects, it just redirects to the home page.

When I hover over the ‘Previous’ button on the bottom of the page, the URL is mikesnaps.wordpress.com/page/2/. But it seems that the correct URL to go to previous projects is mikesnaps.wordpress.com/porfolio/page/2/. How do I fix this?

This is known issue, I had the same bug with my portfolio site as well (www.savorsnap.com). I’ve contacted support staff directly and they’re aware of this issue. Let’s wait for the fix :)

Hi elete, yeah I just did some digging on wordpress.org and it’s a known bug on 4.4.1 but fixed on 4.4.2. Is there a way for myself to contact support staff directly. Hopefully if they keep getting pinged about this bug, they’ll roll out the update. WordPress.org folks already have 4.4.2.

Just FYI- updates here on WordPressdotcom are on continuous roll out and we usually have them here before they are released in standalone WP.
The no link to portfolio pages bug was reported by several users about a month ago (don’t think it was theme-related) and was apparently fixed one-by-one by Staff. From what you are saying, however, this seems a bit different from that.
The Previous posts link at the bottom of your site does work for me in Chrome 48.0.2564.116 m (64-bit) on Win7Pro and brings up entirely different posts on Page 2 and Page 3. It doesn’t reroute to the home page.

If you don’t have any paid upgrades on your WordPressdotcom site, the Contact Us form in the Dashboard that @elte mentioned will simply reroute your question back to the community forums.
You can, however, add a MODLOOK tag to the Tags Section of this forum thread to alert Staff for their assistance.
