  I have an .xml file from another blogging platform, onsugar.com. Is there a way to import this to wordpress?

  You should be able to just go to your Dashboard Tools page and under Import, select the file.

  WordPress doesn’t have an importing tool for onsugar.com, so you will have to see if you can import your blog to one of the systems listed on the import page and then from that system into WordPress. (From Import)

  I did a quick search and read (in the onsugar help) that some people had success exporting their onsugar.com blogs for Typepad and then just importing that file via the Typepad import option on WordPress. That was a couple years ago, but you could give it a try.
