can I permanently point out a wordpress blog I like, without putting it in an article?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

• Hi,

I’m not sure I quite understand, are you asking about linking to another WordPress blog on your site, such as a menu or a sidebar?

If so, the answer is yes, you can. :)

• Will you tell me how?

Of course! There is a nice guide to using links on this page:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/

In short, you can highlight a word you want to link and click the icon on your toolbar that looks like a chain link to turn it into a link. This works on posts and pages.

To add an item to your menu, go to Appearance > Menus and on the left side, click Links. Add the address of the website you want to link to and give it a title, then click Add to Menu.

Thanks a lot and I found a helpful tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67drmUekABE .
But I would just like to widget one particular blog, that gives additional information to my readers, permanently, can I do that?

• I would just like to widget one particular blog, that gives additional information to my readers, permanently

You can :)

Here are the steps for that:

1. Go to Appearance > Widgets
2. Click on Text Widget and Add to the sidebar where you want to show the link
3. Go up to the top under Sidebar and click on the widget you added
4. Add the link information there, either as an image link, a text link (a clickable word), or the link by itself. You can get the link by going to the website in question and copying it from the address bar at the top of your browser.

To add a Text link, which is what I would recommend, use this format:

PUT TITLE TEXT HERE

Let me know if you have any questions!
