Other domain direct to WordPress

    Hello, a colleague set up his own company domain elsewhere and now he wants to me to create a blog for him, but wants to keep that non-Wordpress domain because it is his new company’s name, already has cards etc. Can I create a new blog with you and then when ready to launch direct his URL to it automatically when someone types his domain? If so, how to do it??

    Hi there,

    Yes, you can do this! :) You can create a new blog by signing in to your WordPress.com account and going to this page:

    https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/

    When you’re ready, you can map his domain to the blog with a domain mapping upgrade ($13/year), which you can read more about here: Map an Existing Domain
