Other people’s Podcast’s

  Am I allowed to embed other people’s podcast on my site. I recommend podcast for people to listen too. Can I do it legally since they are free downloads?

  If you use the formats WordPress allows, and you don’t hack the podcast at all, you should be allowed to. Both Google video and YouTube allow users to disallow embedding if they don’t want it on other sites, so if it’s allowed by the owner, it’s allowed.

  Thank you. I have been just uploading to my site, is it better to embed it to save storage, and how do I embed a podcast?

  In my opinion, embedding is the way to go. Quicker, and you are saving your own space.

  But you can’t do that on WordPress.com, as discussed above in this thread. He has to upload it to somewhere, even if just YouTube.
