other wp bloggers show up as not logged in

  When some of the regular commenters (these are other WP bloggers) try to comment on my blog, it shows that they are not logged in to wordpress even though they are logged in. Therefore, their avatars (which used to be their personalized avatars) are now the generic avatars. Any idea whats going on?
