Our cite got cenzored (banned) in Russia by mistake
-
Some users see the page that “the cite is closed by the decision of the court of Russian Federation” and don’t get access to the cite.
After internal investigation, we found out that we share IP address 192.0.81.250 with another resource (http://b0ltai.wordpress.com/) that got banned by the government on 23 July (2 days ago).
We would like to inquire whether it’s possible to do any changes on your side, since many of internet-providers refuse to help us (they are lacking filtering mechanisms on their side and are unable to change anything after the decision of the court).Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi there,
We aren’t able to unblock the site from our side, but our team is aware of the issue and is working to try to get internet service providers to only block the specific sites that are supposed to be banned, so that other sites aren’t blocked.
As a workaround, in the meantime, you can try using a VPN or proxy to access the blog. The following links provide some options that you may be able to explore and/or use:
https://www.intl-alliance.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_119
https://www.torproject.org/I hope this helps, and we’ll keep working to try to get you access to your blog again!

Hi Rachel,
That actually doesn’t help.
Thanks, we’re aware of proxys e.t.c., – but I was just wondering whether it’s possible to change the IP of our blog?
Another question – if we change domain name from gojey.org to anything else, will the IP change automatically? Thanks in advance!
Maria
