Our domain not listed in domains, no way to request EPP code

    We want to request an EPP/AUTH code for domain name hopebenefiet.com, which is registered through wordpress for the last few years.

    However the domain is not listed in our account. The ‘domains’ list only shows our hopebenefiet.wordpress.com, so there’s no way in requesting the code.

    You can’t transfer your domain because on October 26 you have canceled it.

    Since the cancellation is recent I can try and revert it if you wish to transfer the domain elsewhere.

    Let me know how you wish me to proceed.

    Oh really.. Yes please try to revert it, as a colleague was supposed to just take the site offline, not cancel the domain name. We did not know she did this.

    I’ve emailed our domain provider to try and restore the domain. I’ll let you know once I hear back from them.

    Please be aware there is a possibility that the domain has already entered redemption, in which case our registrar will charge an $80 fee to restore it, but I’ll only know for sure once I hear back from them.

  • Our registrar has restored your domain and I’ve reactivated it on your account. However, I see your domain is now transfer locked at our registrar.

    On 17 October you made a contact information change on the domain, and that causes a mandatory 60-day transfer lock to be placed on the domain unless you specifically opt out. If you are sure you did opt out then this lock might be in error and I can follow up with our registrar about it. Otherwise, you will only be able to transfer the domain around 17 December once the lock is lifted.

    In the meantime you can still use the domain with another service by pointing the name servers or IP address at them:
