I wanted to add as well – our user name is not being recognized by the system whenever we try to login via WordPress.com’s main page. It effectively tells us that the user does not exist. Struggling to understand as it seems any record of the website has been removed, including our account. Please help!
GoDaddy shows that our site went down two days ago on November 2nd, and had successful scans every day leading up to that day when errors began occurring when it attempted to scan.
URL is hidden from public view but should be available to admins / moderators. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide to help investigate.

Hi there:
To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:
1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.If you’re getting a message that “user does not exist” when logging in here at WordPress.com, then your site is likely not hosted with us.
Can you let us know the URL of your site so we can better advise where you need to go to get help?
Thanks.
