  • Hi there,

kamasajei.com is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but is using the open source WordPress.org software, hosted by Google Domains.

The site is connected to your WordPress.com account through the Jetpack plugin, but that simply allows you to manage certain aspects of the site from your WordPress.com account. The site itself isn’t on our servers, and we have no control over how it works.

If the site is offline, please contact your hosting provider, Google in this case, directly for help.

We just noticed that our user name has also been changed.

There hasn’t been any changes to the username for the WordPress.com username account you’re using to post here.

But this username won’t be the same as the admin user account you use to log into your site’s dashboard, as that admin account is a completely separate account that has no connection to your WordPress.com account. Your WordPress.com account is used for Jetpack the Jetpack plugin, and was created automatically when you connected your site to Jetpack two years ago.
