We built a beautiful website called Parrishranch.com and have renewed our domain name every year but the guy who ‘hosted’ it vanished and took our website down. How can we restore our website. It’s too much work to build a new one.

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear your files and data were lost. Did you happen to download any backups, or use backup services? If so, we may be able to figure out something from that. Please let us know what you’ve got and we’ll go from there.
Otherwise, your best bet may be to go ahead and start a new site. I was able to find an archive of the site at Archive.org, if you want to copy text and images from that. You can just create it again one page and post at a time:
https://wordpress.com/page (best for static stuff like a contact form, about us, etc)
https://wordpress.com/post (best for announcements/news/your blog)
When you’ve got your pages and posts in place, you’ll just need a menu to connect it all together. Let us know if you need help with any of these steps along the way!
