Out of control wall scrolling
-
I put in my settings that no more than 10-12 posts show on the main wall
but for some reason it is scrolling the entire blog set…
um why?

The theme you are using has had the infinite scrolling update, but you can bypass that.
Put a blank text widget with no title into one of the footer widget areas and then go to settings > reading, uncheck “infinite scrolling” and then set the number of posts that you wan to appear on your pages and save.

Thanks….but how do you create a blank widget?
I also haven’t used any footer widget areas so would I use number one? -
If you have no footer widget area, you’ll need to change themes to one that does have it. And just put a text widget in there. If you don’t add content to it, it’s empty by default.

@alandale
You drag and drop an empty text widget into a footer widget area. You click the empty text widget and it opens. You click “save” and “close” inside the widget. Then you go to > Settings > reading and the option to disable infinite scrolling is there. You disable it and click “save changes”. See: Disabling Infinite Scroll on your WordPress.com BlogP.S. The fact your username is linked to Amazon means we cannot click it and locate your blog and see which theme you are using.

P.P.S. I now see the blog link above. Sorry I read over it before. You are using the Oxygen theme and the workaroung provided does work.
