out of memory at line:1
-
Hi all,
When I am working on a page I get the following message in a dialogue box. “our of memory at line:1”. When I get this I cannot save, log out or move out of the page.
I noticed the same problem in another topic. The writer said he cleaned out the cache. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do that. Sorry for my ignorance…I know it is probably pretty basic..but I am willing to learn. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Without a link to the site you are talking about, I’m going to take a wild guess and say your are talking about a self-hosted site, not one hosted here at wordpress.COM.
You need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.
These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.
If you are not familiar with the differences, see this support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ .

My blog is blogoath.wordpress.com. I will find out about linking the blog name soon.
The ORG site is too hard for me.
Thanks for your time anyway. -
Another thing just came up…which might another piece to the puzzle. After the above message shows, I now get a second message:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library
Program: C/Program Files/Internet Explorer/ iexplore.exe
Abnormal program termination
OKIs my problem with my computer and not with wordpress.com?

I would be very suspicious of your computer and browser. Can you try another browser?
Also try these fixes:
-
Also, log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, shut your computer down for about 5 minutes and then restart it. It could be any number of things causing it on your computer from a hard drive in need of scanning and repair, to some damaged or corrupted files, to a bad memory module or chip… etc.

Thanks for the info guys.
I’ve cleaned out the browser cache. I’m pretty busy over the next day or two, so I will test it again later.
I’ll give you an update later. However, I think that you guys have helped solve the problem.
To tell you the truth I didn’t know stuff about caches…just to display my depth of knowledge in the field of computers.
Thanks for your time, advise and link.
cheers -
