Out of the Box – Change Menu Bar Color and Menu Title Colors

  Hello,

  I would like to change the color of the Blue Menu Bar at the top of my site to just plain white so you can’t see it. I can do so under APPEARANCE and CUSTOMIZE, but then it also changes the color of the site title to white. I also need to change the color of the menu titles to blue, as they’re also white and can’t be seen when I make the bar white.

  So, how can I change the bar to white and the menu text to blue?

  how can I change the bar to white and the menu text to blue?

  – to change this you need to add custom css code

  To change the text color of menu you need to add the code:

  ul#menu-primary-menu li a {
      color: rgba(0, 100, 137, 0.7);
  }

  To make the background color of menu white the code is as follows:

  .main-navigation.translucent {
      background-color: white !important;
  }

  Hi shubhamgmath,

  I seem to have white screen death. I was having a lot of trouble changing my password. When I finally succeeded, my site https://books6259.wordpress.com/ shows only a white screen.

  I tried all suggestions on the support page but I couldn’t fix it. Maybe it is me, but I am scared since book review site has finally begun to get views and visits. I touched base with my Goodreads friends that also use WordPress, they tell me that my site looks fine to them.

  Please help!
