Outcoming Events in Slideshow

  Dear sir or Madma,

  I chose a widget on my sidebar called Outcoming Events, but all events are listed out there which I don’t like. Is it possible to make it as a slide show through CSS?

  Can anyone help?

  Hi Tony, no that is not something we can do with CSS.

  I had thought about the Gallery Widget, which also lets you choose to do a slideshow, but there is no way to link the images in the slideshow to outside URLs, so that really wouldn’t work for events off a calendar.

  The only other thing I could suggest would be to add them manually to a text widget in the sidebar, but of course you would have to manually edit that widget each time an event passed and then add new ones. If you wish to explore using a text widget, here are some useful support documents on them.
