Outdated blog to be deleted
-
My organization has an alumni-web page that somebody has created many years ago, and there is no record of who created it. The address to the page is http://snalumni.wordpress.com/. We would like to have the blog deleted, as it is outdated and we don’t have control over it. We own the trademark for the brand, so there should be no technical problems with deleting the blog.
Can anyone help me with this?

Staff will not just delete a blog because you ask them to. Blogs belong to their owners and your are not thw owner of the blog. Unless you have a court order this is not going to happen. Please read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/disputes/

There is contact information on that blog http://snalumni.wordpress.com/kontakt/ I suggest you use it to contact the blog owner. They can delete their blog and/or can transfer it to another wordpress.com username account. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

Thanks for your quick feedback.
I’m well aware that there is some contact info on the page, bit we dont know who blog owner is.
Is wondering if perhaps the staff could tell us who the owner was, or the email to the owner, so that we can contact that person directly.

I have flagged this thread for Staff attention. It’s the weekend and I have not seen Staff posting to this forum yet today. Please be patient while waiting.

The blog is owned by a user with a erl[…] (at) hotmail.com email address. Under our privacy policy, that is the extent of what we can reveal.

Thank you for the quick reply! I have found the rest of his email, and started the process.
The reason I accidentally created another post was that I opened a support ticker. I was unaware that it created a forum post.
