Outdated SSL?

  • Unknown's avatar

Having problems with our website showing up on certain browsers, we believe it is the SSL. When I click ‘plugins’ on the backend of the site it gives me an error message. How can I access the plugins to update the SSL?

    Hi annasucre,

Are you referring to restaurantsalon.com? If so, the Business plan expired several months ago and we sent you more information in this thread:

    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/403-forbidden-when-trying-to-get-to-plug-ins/

We didn’t receive a payment so the Business plan wasn’t added back. Is this the site you need help with? Or have you created another one since then?

Just let me know and we can go from there.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your response. Yes, we still have restaurantsalon.com.

We will add the Business Plan back. Once added will I easily be able to update the SSL?

    Thank you!

I just tried to upgrade back the Business Plan, and got the message that ‘
this upgrade is not available for Jetpack site’.

    What does this mean?

  • Do you have the payment link we sent a while back? Are you able to process the payment successfully there? Let me know if that seems to work and I’ll check it out + add the plan back.

Will you resend the link to me?

    Thank you.

  • Howdy –

The previous payment link is now showing a pending status. Did you submit payment and find it?

I attempt to switch the plan directly from the backend of WordPress (not from a link sent) and it said that the Business Plan could not be supported with JetPack. So I assumed nothing went through.

I just submitted payment via the link emailed to me and now it’s asking me submit another payment. Why is this? I already got an emailed receipt.

Is there any way to schedule a call with support at WordPress? The link you guys sent me looks like it was for restaurantsalonblog.wordpress.

We needed to upgrade to the Business Plan on restaurantsalon.com.

  • Hi there,

restaurantsalonblog.wordpress.com is the site that you used to have at the domain, restaurantsalon.com, via our Business Plan.

We need to manually reactivate the plan for you. It’s not something you can do yourself or that happens automatically once you pay via the link we sent you.

I have done that now, and both the plan and domain mapping is active on your account again. The site is loading again and you should not see any more SSL errors.

However, some of the plugins you had installed before the plan expired may need to be reconfigured. If you need any help with that, you should now again be able to access live chat support at https://wordpress.com/help/contact so we can help you get things set up back the way they were.

    Hi there,

Yes, I now see the Business plan activated. Thank you so much for your help! I am still not able to access the Plugins page, but will reach out via live chat.

    Thanks again!
