Outgoing link error

  Hi, My question is that every time I place a link on my posts in the blog, it adds the URL of my blog in front of it. For example if I am trying to provide a link to google, I add the link like you normally would and then save the post. However, when you click on the link, it tries to take me to http://www.tipsareforwaiter.wordpress.com/www.google.com which takes me back to my own site. This link problem is new as I did not have this issue before and i do not know what i did to screw it up. Help would be much appreciated. Thank You.

  when you create a link, make sure to include the http at the beginning. if you put http://www.google.com, then it will assume you’re making a relative link (a link to some part of your site). if you put http://www.google.com, it will assume you’re making an absolute link (a link to a specific site).
