Outlook email followers

  Hi, I hav also had the same issue with receiving email followers from an outlook email. But when I check my blog to delete them, I can’t see their emails. Is this something to be worried about?

  A number of people have reported the same issue and our developers are working to remove these followers at the moment. We will be posting further updates in this thread:

  Is this something to be worried about?

  The followers do not have access to your account, site or any of your content so I hope that puts your mind at rest.

  I, too, am being annoyed by a plague of unusual outlook accounts signing on my blog as followers. They are definitely not legit and regardless of whether I should be worried about their intent and purpose, I find them an unwanted annoyance. I hope that WordPress can find a fix or at least provide some means to block ALL outlook.com accounts and let outlook.com deal with any complaints from their subscribers.

  Hi Harold,

  I’ve passed the latest email addresses on to our developers. As I mentioned above, we are working to remove these spam followers and we will post an update in that thread as soon as there is more news.
