Outside Premium Theme templates

I purchased a premium theme from another site, but cannot upload it here. I was under the impression that “premium themes” could only function if I purchased the premium hosting on the wordpress.COM site. Is that not the case? So now what do I do?

Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
