  Hi, can you tell me if the Outspoken theme is still supported?

  I noticed on the author’s website that it hasn’t been updated since 2013.
  http://wpshower.com/themes/outspoken/

  Is the wordpress.com theme the same as the one on the author’s page?
  It’s cheaper there.

  Also, would i be able to install it in a private server if i buy it here?

  It’s the same theme.

  Premium themes can only be used on WordPress.com sites.

  Do you know if the theme in the author’s website is maintained like the wordpress.com is? I mean, is the author maintaining both themes?

  The theme at the author’s website hasn’t been updated since May 2015, that’s why i worried that it might be abandoned.

  To answer your question, I don’t know if the author is maintaining the theme or not, but I do know that the theme hosted on WordPress.com is maintained. However, there are no new features added, only bugfixes (if any).

  Also, if you purchase a Premium theme, it will be available for the lifetime of your site. Sometimes, we may decide to retire a Premium theme because it’s dated from a visual or functionality standpoint. If that happens, you can continue to use the theme for as long as you like, but if you switch to another theme, you can’t change back.
