  Hi there, I am considering using the Ovation theme, but since I have not purchased it, I only know what is possible by the live video demo. I want to use the theme for a virtual exhibition that contains lots of images and video content. I like the idea of having a static homepage and the rest to be scrolling. The narrative of the show is linear and there are six sub-sections, it is important to maintain that. Is it possible to edit the backend to achieve images, text, video, quotes, etc. alongside each other? As well, I want to use several colors (by playing with opacity levels) and a custom font for the header (created in Illustrator). Will this be easy to upload? Is there any other videos or examples of a website using this Ovation theme to see and compare to? Thanks!

  This does not depend on the theme – the theme only determines the design of the site, while you use the editor to control how the content itself is formatted. I suggest you look at the page layouts and block patterns available in the editor to see what kinds of layouts are possible:

  Ovation supports custom headers, so as long as you have an image file in JPG or PNG format, you can upload it as a custom header.

  This theme also supports custom colors, meaning you can change the base colors of the theme from the Customizer. But for more detailed control, like changing the colors or opacity of specific elements on the page, you’ll need to use custom CSS code in our Premium Plan. This is true no matter which theme you’re using.

  Is there any other videos or examples of a website using this Ovation theme to see and compare to?

  We don’t maintain a showcase of sites using specific themes on WordPress.com, no. We have no restriction on WordPress.com on how often you can change your theme, and some people literally change their site theme every other week. So maintaining such a list of example sites simply isn’t practical :)
