Over my limit for TUmblr import?

    I have a large tumblr and a free wordpress site. I’m currently importing my main tumblr and am afraid I’ll surpass the free site limit. Can you check if I’ll need to upgrade? And can I upgrade in the middle of the import without interrupting the import process?

    Hi geekishchic,

    It appears the Tumblr import on your site has now failed, so I’ve reset the importer so you can try again.

    If it seems to take a while, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re still experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your new import is processed.

    If some posts have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.

    Can you check if I’ll need to upgrade?

    I’m unable to see how much space you will need but it’s worth noting that posts and pages do not count towards storage space use (only media).

    If you continue using the Free plan but have more than 3GB of media, any over that amount won’t be imported — you would need to upgrade and run another import for the remaining media over the 3GB (only missing content will be imported).
