Over writing existing theme files

    I am trying to update a cyberchips theme Eclipse Pro 2 to a newer version.
    When I try to unzip the file into Word Press the message i get is that the file already exists and cannot be overwritten.
    The download is definitely a newer version to the one I am running.
    When updated to a newer version of word press a function in the theme ceased to work, ie the Lightbox which goes dark after launching.
    Cyberchimps advised me to upgrade the theme to overcome this problem.
    How do I overwrite the file?
