Overcharged buying a theme

  I bought the “Creative” theme today, which is €75 – I received an email receipt for this amount, but my bank account was billed €140.

  Can you please refund the difference?

  Creative costs $75 in US funds.

  Our system matches the upgrade currency to your payment method’s billing address. If your credit card is registered in the UK, you’ll need to pay for your upgrades in GBP. (The upgrade price may vary between currencies based on currency conversion rates and local taxes and fees such as VAT.)

  The price on the theme was marked €75 and I received a receipt for this amount, the receipt also states that all charged are inclusive of VAT, if any.

  I don’t understand how I have been charged almost double the amount? Especially given that that $75 converts to €70.85, so if anything, I should have been charged less by this logic. Also, my card is registered in Ireland, not the UK.

  It is totally unacceptable for the theme to be marked as one price and billed to my account as another – this needs to be rectified.
