Overlapping the logo on Slideshow ?

  Hi Everyone,

  I want to build my website under wordpress. It will be my first time using it.
  I have seen a lot of nice premium templates, but none with what I would like to.

  I want my logo to stand out. For this, I would like my logo to overlap the main slideshow.
  I have seen it in this theme but I don’t know how to do it.
  

  Can anyone help me figure it out ?

  It sounds like you’ve mixed up the different types of WordPress. You have a blog at WordPress.com, http://jnturcotte.wordpress.com/ to which NO EXTERNAL THEMES can be applied.

  I have a blog on wordpress.com but that’s not what I want to use.
  I wanted to register to post the question in the forum and couldn’t do it without registering a blog.

  My website is at http://www.jnturcotte.com
  But since I haven’t built anything on it yet.

  I want to know first if it’s possible to overlap a logo over a slideshow like show in the link.
  Cause the theme I want to purchase doesn’t have it (like most of them except the one I have shown).
