Overwrite with Upgrading Issue

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello,

I renewed my Premium blog earlier this evening, and it somehow erased a bunch of the customization on my website. Is there anyway I can recover it or you can get it back for me? I spent about a month organizing it and getting it just right, and it’s really frustrating to have to start from scratch again without any kind of a warning that would happen. I lost all the information I had in my custom CSS file, along with my entire sidebar disappearing, and my sub-header being erased (the latter not really an issue).

I’m not sure what else it might have overwritten, but I’m very discouraged and would be very grateful if there’s anyway you could help me get my site back to the way it was previously.

Please help, and thanks in advance,
    Bettina

**Sidenote: I am going to start work on fixing it, if anyone is looking on my website. If there is anyway to recover the lost work or prevent this from happening next time I upgrade, I would appreciate comments and help with that.

    Thank you again.

    UPDATE:

It would seem I have figured out a way to resolve the issue! For anyone that might have the same issue, if you go to your Custom CSS there is an option called “CSS Revisons” where previous revisions are saved and can be used to overwrite current CSS.

Thanks for letting me vent I guess! hah.

    Hi there!

Sorry for the wait, but I’m glad you found the CSS Revisions tool!

Let me know if you need any other help. :)
