Own domain

  Hi,

  I have my own domain address that I’d like to use for my blog but every time I try to add it it takes me to the premium plan. Can I upgrade to the lower plan and use my own domain address still?

  You can add custom domains that you have elsewhere to your WordPress.com site, starting from the Personal plan. Learn more about the pricing here. https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  You can choose to pick any WordPress.com plan between Personal, Premium and Business.

  Hi Colin,

  If you start with the domain mapping step, Premium is added automatically. But you can use Personal as well. In that case, first go to My Site ->Plans and add the plan, and then add the domain mapping afterwards.

  Hello,
  I have my own domain and assigned for the premium plan on WordPress. I started to update it in WordPress today but there are no updates in my domain.
  I already got the browser cache cleaned.
  Can you please, help me?

  Please do not hijack threads started by other users by asking about a completely unrelated issue. As you have a Premium Plan, please start a live chat with us, and we’ll help you there:

  That said, you have multiple sites in your account. Click on My Sites ->Switch Site and make sure you select the site to which your domain is connected before writing a post.

  If you’re referring to your site not showing the correct domain, that’s because you still have the WordPress.com address set as your primary domain. You can update that from My Site ->Domains.

  Domains
