  Not sure whether to transfer my domain to WordPress or just map it… ?

  Only you can decide if you want to keep paying at two different places or have everything under “one roof”. Note that there are a few domains that currently can’t be transferred to WordPress.com (but could be mapped) and you need to have owned a domain for at least 60 days to transfer it here (or anywhere else for that matter). https://wordpress.com/pricing/
