Own domain

  I want to set up an own domain for my WordPress blog.
  My actual address amalthia.wordpress.com should be changed to amalthia.de or similar.
  Will amalthia.wordpress.com be automaticly redirected to amalthia.de?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes it will.

  Register amalthia.de at whatever domain registrar that you like to use. Then use these instructions to map it to your WordPress.com site:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
