own domain from worddpress to tumblr

  I want to use my own domain.com (i bought it from wordpress)…..so the guys in TUMBLR are asking me to point my domain.com to their place changing the IP adress of my domain…..but I just cant find how…..can anyone give me a hand on this?

  If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers
