Own visits counted in stats — help!
-
My blog is not private, but my own page views are definitely being counted in the site stats even when I’m logged in. I know this is not supposed to be the case, but it’s happening, and it’s making the stats completely unreliable. Could you please look into this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’ll tag this thread for Staff to take a look at your stats. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Virtually all (if not all) of the visits for 11/27/2013 were mine, for instance. I made a bunch of updates to the blog yesterday, and the visits shot up exponentially as I was doing that. Every time I make updates, I see a spike in visits.

Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Internet Explorer or Google Chrome?

If third-party cookies are required for the stats to work correctly, then I guess I have to resign myself to having incorrect stats. I do not accept third-party cookies and have no plans to begin doing so.
I guess that resolves the problem, sort of. Thanks for looking into it.
I haven’t tried a different browser.
