Owned customized domain with blogger but was lost when bought by google,

  I Owned a customized domain that was purchased through blogger (necessarywonk.com), however, this was completely lost when it was bought by google, I Can’t find who has my domain name so that I can change it to wordpress. I want my wordpress blog, necessarywonk.wordpress.com, to be necessarywonk.com and do not know how to do this. PLEASE HELP!!!
