  I am interested in adding a plan to my WordPress blog but I already own a domain, if I add the plan before the domain expires do I still have to pay the renewal fee of 17 dollars.

  Hi there!

  Is this for lambword.com? I can see you have already added the plan and used the free credits to transfer the domain. Once the transfer is over the domain will be registered here with WordPress.com and you won’t need to renew it until next year.
