Owner of blog removing comments
-
I recently made comments on someones blog and although passed by moderators I’ve discovered that 3 of them were only there for a day and they’ve now gone.I’m assuming the person I made the comments to didn’t like what I had to say so he’s deleted them, can he do this?
-
Yes. (i am not a staff member, i just know that one can even edit out parts of the comments themselves to be positive instead of a differing opinion. I agree with the ability to delete them. I do not agree with the ability to change another person’s words.)

I’m afraid I must disagree with you,the person who did this writes that he likes to ‘provoke’well he obviously doesn’t,if he hasn’t the courage to read and reflect on everyones comments then he should at least make it clear that anything he disagrees with or can’t answer he deletes.I suspect that many wouldn’t bother reading his blog if they were aware of this.It feels deceitful to me.

Sorry elisassport this is a follow on,I just wanted to remind you that every comment shown had already passed the moderators.

I recall your other thread here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/should-client-always-use-screen-name-when-responding-to-comment?replies=3#post-2163982 and I suggest you stop submitting comments to such blogs.
None of us have to approve any comment and even after a comment is approved we can delete it if we wish to. It seems that is what happened to your comments.
