Last year, we created a website through WordPress.com, but now the website is expired and we don’t receive any messages from WordPress.com, guessing we forget who’s the owner of the website. Could you please take a look and let us know the owner of http://www.heavenly-sound.com.

The domain, heavenly-sound.com, is not registered with us.
It was mapped to a WordPress.com site in a different account from the one you’re using to post here, but the account who owned that domain mapping upgrade cancelled it in March. That’s why you didn’t receive any expiration notices – the upgrade didn’t expire, but was removed by the person who owned it.
If you want to work on that site again, you can follow our account recovery process to regain access to the account again:

I’m afraid I cannot give you information about upgrades owned by another account, especially as the account you’re using to post here is not even a user on the site in question.
Additionally, any admin on that site can add a new mapping upgrade to reconnect this domain, so as long as you have access to one of the admin accounts you’ll be able to do that. However, this will now require an upgrade to one of our paid plans, as we no longer offer domain mapping as a stand-alone upgrade.
If you’re logged into an admin account you’ll also be able to see who the other admins are by going to My Site ->Manage ->People.

I look up to my emails and found my account was once the admin of heavenly-sound.com, and I was able to revise the website and implement mapping, but now my site is empty. Do you know the reason? Thanks!

I don’t see the domain heavenly-sound.com mapped to any WordPress.com site. In any case, the domain is just an address, it does not contain your site. It will display the site it is mapped to.
Which address are you checking currently?

I just would like to again clarify the problem I met.
I’m the owner of heavenly-sound.com domain, and we had a designer to create a site via WordPress.com in Nov, 2018 and mapped the domain to the wordpress site according to the instruction on wordpress. Everything is good on track at time and I became the admin account — I was able to see and revise heavenly-sound when logging into wordpress.com.
Below is the receipt and transaction ID of domain mapping purchase:
[redacted by staff]We didn’t update the website since then and now we found we cannot open heavenly-sound.com. When I log into wordpress using my account, I can no longer see my site — its empty.
As far as I can see the mapping plan itself was canceled as well as the domain mapping by the owner.
I just would like to chase back the admin account. Could you find out by using the receipt ID I provide. I tried to find back by following your ACCOUNT RECOVERY procedures, but all I can find is the current wordpress account I’m using which is not the admin account of my site.

Hi,
The account I found back is not the admin of my website either.
The account I’m using right now was the admin account — I was able to revise and update my site. As far as i can see the domain mapping plan itself was canceled/expired. But I didn’t receive any message and now there’s nothing under my account.
Is it possible that wordpress.com retained some of those backups of my site? How long do you retain them after a plan is canceled.

Or, could you simply find out who is the owner of the site http://www.heavenly-sound.com? I still own the domain and it’s still pointing to wordpress.com. I just haven’t received any messages regarding the renewal.
