Ownership of the blogs

How do we confirm who is owner of our blogs (ie which account). Also, I can’t understand where the billing information is stored. I assume only the blog owner has access?
I’ve used WordPress.org for over 7 years and it was always smooth. The support, via community forums of WordPress is very disappointing. We asked an earlier question, as well as contacted Automattic with all our finance info/proof of ownership to regain ownership of our blogs (former employee ran off with the passwords.) I can ‘maybe’ understand no answer via the community forum, but no answer when directly asking Automattic is not acceptable after 2 weeks.

Yeah, I am praying I can sort this out soon. A long story short… Our social media team quit. Walked off with the passwords. Changed the accounts from using company-based email addresses to their own personal email addresses. So I am trying to …
(1) re-establish an ADMIN account for all three blogs (done)
(2) get ownership of all three blogs (2 seem OK, 1 doesn’t)
(3) remove their former ADMIN accounts.On (3) I am perplexed. I made sure no POSTS were assigned to them. And using my own ADMIN account, I attempted to remove them. I was unable to.
Like I said, I used WordPress.org for 7 years so I am not a newbie. Considering we pay over $200 a year, the support system has been lacking IMHO. I’d rather go back to WordPress.org and get a shared hosting account with LAMP. Head-slapping that Automattic has their support done them by community members.

I’m sorry this has been so difficult for you. I don’t see another ticket or thread from this account or the e-mail address it is using. Since account recovery and ownership issues shouldn’t be hashed out in the public forum, I’ll shoot you an e-mail so we can continue the conversation privately.
