Ownership proof of deleted site

  I used to have a WordPress site with a URL, long since deleted, but for personal reasons would like to prove ownership of the URL to my still existing WordPress account – is this possible? I don’t want to restore the site, or retrieve information, just prove that the URL was associated with my WordPress account and email address.

  Sure, it was [redacted]. Just to reemphasise, I don’t want to restore the deleted blog, and it was this WordPress account which operated it, I just want to establish that I owned it during the period before it was deleted.

  That site was not associated with the WordPress.com account you’re currently logged into. For security purposes, we can’t disclose the username of the actual owner without proof of ownership.

  Thanks for the quick response, I am really puzzled. The email address for this account is (email visible only to moderators and staff) and I am nearly 100% certain that it is associated with the [wordpress subdomain] URL. If it is otherwise, I will have to do some further digging.

  That email address is associated with the account you’re currently logged in to, not the account which owned the site, and we only allow one account per email address.

  Usernames are usually the same as the name of the site
  https://wordpress.com/forums/users/alterorbisworld/

  Ah, thank you so much everyone, turns out that I set up two accounts, but this account actually is the Alterorbisworld account, with the email address of (email visible only to moderators and staff) rather than outlook.com, doh. Can I confirm that this is the account associated with the URL? Is there any way to get that confirmation in email form?
