Owning a domain

  Hello. I am a new pc user, and I recently started my site ecozhdc.wordpress.com
  However, I wish to purchase the .com domain for my site, from wordpress or any other web hosts. do I also have to upgrade to any paid wordpress plans in order to use the .com suffix, or any other for that matter?

  Hi @ecozhdc, you’ll need a paid plan for a custom domain. Head to https://wordpress.com/plans and you can choose from one there.

  All of our paid plans include your first year of domain registration in the plan pricing.

  After that, current pricing for .com domains is $18/year including WHOIS privacy protection.
