Owning the Material
-
If I pay for a WordPress.com account and a domain name – I own the material I write, right? Can our accounts just be taken away?… I read that somewhere.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
You own your own material, you grant WordPress.COM a license to display it anywhere in the world. If you leave WordPress.COM they don’t retain any rights to your material
If you violate the Terms of Service that you agreed to but probably did not read, your blog will be suspended. Your account is forever
-
Here are some of the policies you should probably read to prevent your blog being suspended:

By “display it anywhere in the world” all he means is, put the stuff on your blog and make it accessible on the internet. YOU still own the actual content.
