Oxygen: Google does not index my mobile pages

  Dear all:

  Some time ago I enabled in wp-admin the mobile option for Oxygen, which I know is not a mobile friendly theme.

  Anyway, my Google console keeps showing that I have around 100 mobile pages submitted –same figure that web pages–, but no one is indexed.

  The console also reports that “No mobile usability errors detected”.

  What is happening?

  Any help will be much appreciated.

  Hi,

  I find a number of pages on https://cambiocultural.org/ indexed by Google. It’s not clear to me what you are saying. Are you suggesting that Google should index each page twice, once for mobile devices and once for non-mobile devices?

  Thank you very much for your answer !!

  I’m really not sure what is Google policy related to SERPs on mobiles at the moment, but my Google console shows independent graphs for “web pages” (“submitted” and “indexed”) and for mobile pages “submitted” and “indexed”). My “submitted” pages are the same for both graphs, but the “indexed” pages for the mobile graph = 0 (zero).

  I’m also confused, but what does that graph mean?

  I don’t know, and I would think that these would be questions for Google. However, you may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for WordPress.com staff attention. Perhaps staff can help.

  My guess would be that the “0” reflects that the same pages have been submitted in the web and mobile categories, and therefore there is no need to index them again.
