oxygen: keep 6 thumbnail (sticky) images always in front of viewers
-
When viewers click on any item, I wish to have my 6 thumbnail (sticky) images to move up and top-aligned with my “Search… ” box. That way, my main points would always be in front for viewers’ eyes.
Hope that it’s possible :)

Can you give me an example? Are you talking about the thumbnails below the large featured post on the home page?

Yes, @thesacredpath. I mean the 6 thumbnails below the large featured post on the home page.

Hi, after re-reading your original posting, I’m not entirely sure I understand what you are wanting. The thumbnails below, and the featured slider don’t appear after you click on one of the entries. We can move the thumbnails to the top with this, but I can’t figure out a way to keep the little navigation arrows on the post slider.
Give this a try and see what you think.
.featured-wrapper #slider-nav #slide-thumbs { position: absolute; top: 0; } .featured-wrapper #featured-content { position: relative; top: 90px; } .featured-wrapper { position: relative; } .featured-wrapper #slider-nav { position: initial; } -
Thanks for the effort, but it’s not what I want.
I don’t wish to change anything on homepage.
But as I click on one of the entries OR any other posts/pages, the featured slider does not appear (I am OK with it) BUT the thumbnails to move up and top-aligned with my “Search… ” box (exactly at position caused by above codes).
In other words, I wish 6 thumbnail (sticky) images ALWAYS in front of viewers.

Hi, sorry, that is not possible with CSS. CSS is a styling document used by the browsers to position and style the elements of a web page. It cannot be used to add functionality that is not there already.
To do that would require editing the theme php script files, and we cannot do that at WordPress.com.

Thanks so much for clear explanation.
I guess CSS is possible with:
