Oxygen post image

  How do I figure out the size of the image for each post? I just posted one blog, and the image is way too big, it shows only the top line of image.

  The featured images for posts in Oxygen are 470 wide, and 140 tall.

  I can’t see anything wrong with the image you have, the carousel horse, but it’s certainly not looking the way it should as the featured image for that post on your front page.

  Have you tried deleting it from your media library. Then upload again with a different name. What happens then when you make it the featured image for that post?

  The images you insert in the posts can be any shape and size, but the version on the main page is cropped to fit the fixed dimensions of the featured image area (its middle area will show). If you don’t like the result, you have to prepare a second version of the image in an image editing application: make it fit the required dimensions by cropping it the way you prefer, then insert the normal image in the post but set the other version as a featured image.
